Primary Weekly Update (18/05 - 29/05)

Primary update

Laughter in the corridors!

Our children came back from their Virtual School experience, excited and energized, ready to engage in Physical School once again. This has been particularly apparent during our assembly sessions. Despite the fact that these are still delivered online, in order to maintain our ‘Year Group bubbles’ as part of our COVID – 19 health and safety measures, we get to hear the children’s cheers and laughter along the corridors as they discover who has won ‘Star of the Week’, the award for Adaptability, Communication and House winners. The buildings once again feel alive and staff enthused because of their interactions with their classes. It is great to be back!

Next week, on Monday, we shall be celebrating International Children's Day and our teachers have organised some wonderful activities in recognition of this important event. Please arrange for your sons and daughters to come into school dressed in their House uniform. They will be involved in a House Art Challenge on Monday afternoon, on the theme of 'Kindness'. The best art designs produced will be shared with our community on our Facebook page and with UNICEF Vietnam, potentially to be included in their ‘Kindness is Contagious’ book which will be distributed nationally.
