Secondary Weekly Update (22/11-26/11)

Welcome to BVIS Secondary Update

 

IN GEOGRAPHY

Year 13 have been looking at Sustainable management of the Fraser Hill rainforests in Malaysia. They have been looking at how to prevent slope failure in the area in a sustainable manner. They have used this knowledge to look at what we can do to solve this issue in Vietnam.

In Geography, Year 7 have been looking at tourism in The Gambia, Africa. They’ve looked at why tourists visit this beautiful country and considered the positive and negative impacts of tourism on the area. They have become great ambassadors for The Gambia over the last few weeks!

 

IN HISTORY

This week year 9 have learnt about the Bolshevik seizure of power and all demonstrated excellent understanding with many submitting high quality work.

The year 7 have recently been looking at Viking history and can explain why they were so feared by so many.
