Secondary Weekly Update (06/12-10/12)

Welcome to BVIS Secondary Update

Year 13 returning to school

Year 13 students have returned to school this Wednesday. After completing necessary medical procedures such as: scanning the QR code, washing hands with hand sanitiser, taking temperature and having rapid tests, students quickly got into the classroom to start their first face-to-face class in many months.

We hope to welcome other year groups back to school soon

In Geography

Year 8 have been learning about the causes and impacts of deforestation in the rainforests. They have debated the rights and wrongs of deforesting and come up with their own conclusions on the matter.

Year 11 have been studying the topic of agriculture and have looked at the reasons for global food shortages and what we can do to solve this issue. They’ve come up with some very imaginative ideas!
