Secondary Weekly Update (28/03 - 01/04)

Welcome to BVIS Secondary activity update

In Geography

Key Stage 3 (7,8 and 9) have been completing some Global Campus work this week. They have looked at this month’s Goal of the Month which is on Reducing Consumption and Production. Students have been working out their own carbon footprint and calculating how much waste we each produce and have come up with ways we can reduce the amount of materials we require. Recycling is the answer! Students are all determined to use less plastic from now on!

Year 11’s have been learning how to read OS maps for their exams. They have worked very hard and it has been great that all students have been in this week for their geography lessons.

In English

On March 30th and 31st, we organized speaking Exams for Year 11 students. Congratulations Year 11 students who had a great Speaking Exam.

In Drama

Thank you to all pupils who participated in the Shakespeare House Competition. There were some really creative freeze-frame entries. Results of the competition will be revealed in due course.
