Lindsay Caroline Metaxas

Lindsay 2021

Year 1 Leader

  • PGCE/QTS Primary, Isle of Man College/Chester University, UK
  • BA Politics 2:2, Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester, UK

After gaining a Politics Degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, Lindsay worked as a Youth Leader on the Isle of Man; this ignited a passion to see children and young people reach their full potential.

She studied for her PGCE in 2012 and since then has been lucky enough to teach many children from all over the world including Oman, Brazil and now Vietnam. She has enjoyed teaching in all Key Stages and feels she has learned as much from the children she has met on her journey as she has taught them. She is thoroughly looking forward to starting her time here in Hanoi.

Outside of the classroom she loves to read, particularly autobiographies. Her other interests are yoga, art and cooking - only one of which she’s good at! She retains a keen interest in politics and enjoy reading about current affairs.
