Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register my child?

Click on the registration form link at the bottom of this page, and complete one form per child.

Can I register my child for specific days?

In order to help us manage the epidemiological risk associated with Covid-19, the children should remain in constant groups throughout the week. Therefore it will not be possible to register your child for individual days. Instead, children can only be registered for the full week's programme, although children can attend multiple weeks.

My child is 7 years old. Which camp should I choose?

This ultimately depends on your child and which programme you think will suit them best. The Summer Fun Junior programme will follow a more relaxed structure during the day and will include a higher proportion of creative activities.

Alternatively the Summer Fun programme for children aged seven and above will include a higher proportion of sports and physical activities that younger children might find challenging.

How will the risks of Covid-19 be managed?

We will closely follow all the guidelines issued the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.

In addition to this, we have split the programme into two separate age groups and will only accept children on a week-by-week basis. Places in each group will be strictly limited. This ensures that we can maintain smaller homogenous groups each week, meaning that any potential Covid-19 infections can be isolated more easily. The two groups will run in complete isolation and will follow a unique, specially adapted programme, led by a dedicated team.

Whilst we plan to include some trips and excursions each week, we will be careful to avoid places where there is the possibility for increased contact with others such as at swimming pools, zoos, and other popular public attractions. Any trips will be subject to the current epidemiological measures in force at the time, including the requirement to wear face masks, where necessary.

We will maintain a rigorous hygienic regime for the duration of the camp with frequent disinfection of all contact surfaces. Hand sanitizer will also be available, and children will be routinely directed to wash their hands.

Where do I drop off and pick up my child each day?

For children attending the Summer Fun Junior programme, parents should park at the front of the school and use the separate Early Years entrance. Parents can enter the building up to the marked area where a member of the Summer Fun team will come to meet you.

For children attending the Summer Fun 7+ programme, parents can park at the front of the school, and enter the building using the main entrance. Parents should follow the signs to the marked area where a member of the Summer Fun team will come to meet you.

Kamýk Campus: K lesu 558/2, 142 00, Prague 4

Do you provide transportation to the camp?

Yes, we provide a complimentary shuttle bus service from our Vlastina campus in Prague 6. The bus departs every morning from Vlastina at 8:30am and returns to Vlastina at 5:00pm.

Places on the bus are strictly limited and must be booked in advance. If you would like to reserve a place for your child on the shuttle bus, please indicate this on your registration form.

All children travelling on the shuttle bus will be required to use the provided hand sanitizer before boarding the bus and wear face masks for the duration of the journey.

What happens if a child becomes ill?

If a child shows any potential symptoms of Covid-19 during Summer Fun, they will be taken to an isolation room and parents will need to collect the child as soon as possible. Other children will be taken outside or to an alternative room if possible, whilst indoor spaces are hygienically cleaned and disinfected. Other procedures will be decided according to the individual situation. Children can re-join Summer Fun only with a doctor’s note stating that they are fit to re-join the camp again.

What should the children bring each day?
  • Comfortable clothing for a range of activities
  • Water bottle (clearly labelled with child's name)
  • Sun cream
  • Tick repellent (recommended)
  • Backpack
  • A hat or cap (each child will also receive their own complimentary Summer Fun baseball cap, which all children will be asked to wear on trips so that we can quickly identify the children in the group.)
What about food and drink?

There is no need to bring any food and drink to Summer Fun. A cooked lunch and a morning and afternoon snack will be provided every day, prepared by the school's catering supplier, Lion Catering. If your child has any food allergy or specific dietary requirements, please be sure to include this information in the health information provided on the registration form.

If my child is injured can they still participate in the programme?

If your child has an injury that may prevent them from participating in some activities, please contact us in advance, so that we can discuss the possibilities.

If our plans change, how can I adjust the booking?

It is possible to change the dates of your booking at any time, subject to availability on the requested dates. If you would like to change the dates of your booking, please email:

Bookings may be cancelled with a full refund up until 14 days before your child’s scheduled start date at Summer Fun. Refunds after this time will only be payable for cancellations due to medical reasons, which must be supported by a signed doctor’s certificate.

If my child isn't a fluent English speaker can my child still participate in the programme?

Absolutely! Our team is experienced in working with children who are learning English as an additional language. Our programmes are regularly attended by children from a diverse selection of nationalities with varying levels of English. The focus of the activities is on pure enjoyment and team work. All sessions will include games and activities suitable for a range of ages and abilities.
