Staff Profile: Lina Rojas

Lina Rojas BIS Hanoi 2018

MFL Leader / TESMC Leader

BEd. in Spanish and English, National Pedagogic University, Bogotá
QTS, Overseas Teacher Training Programme by selection

Lina was trained as a teacher at The National Pedagogic University of Bogota, as a teacher of Modern Foreign Languages.

She first taught English at secondary level at The English School for one year prior to leaving to go to the United Kingdom. Since then she has taught in several schools in England progressing to be in charge of the MFL Department at King Richard School. She is currently completing her MA studies in Education at the University of Bath. Her personal area of interest and expertise is Latin American Literature and Culture. She has published some short stories and poems in Spanish and has been invited as key speaker to The International Symposium on Teaching Spanish as Foreign Language in Quebec – CEDELEQ 5.
