Gill Ower BIS Hanoi 2018

Year 5 Teacher

PGCE at Masters Level (Distinction) - University of Nottingham, England
Certificate in Adult TESOL - The Catholic University of Australia, Sydney, Australia
Bachelor of Laws (Hons)  - University of Dundee, Scotland

Following her graduation with a Bachelor's Degree in Law, Gill spent the early part of her career working in the Scottish child protection system before her itchy feet got the better of her and she emigrated to Australia, stopping off for a spot of South East Asia travel along the way. Over 25 years later, she was delighted to have the opportunity to return to the region when she and her family relocated to Hanoi in 2016. Gill joins BIS Hanoi having taught in two British international schools in Spain, her home for the preceding 16 years.  In her free time, Gill enjoys the performing arts, hiking, crochet, basketball - watching not playing - and hopes one day to see the Hanoi Buffaloes win the VBA.
