After completing his University degree in Cultural Studies, Matt taught English as a Foreign Language in Japan, Spain and the Czech Republic. He went on to train and work as a Primary School Teacher in London and then Kathmandu, where he became Head of Learning Support. After training as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, Matt worked as a Counsellor for the NHS in England, before moving into School Counselling in Myanmar and now Hanoi.
Matt has a personal interest in Mindfulness which he also utilises in his counselling work. He is also a keen Creative Writer and enjoys sports including Football, Table Tennis and Badminton.
