Usually, Grade 5 students at Northbridge International School Cambodia mark the end of their time in the PYP with the Exhibition. However, as most things in life have changed in the past few months, so too, has the Exhibition.

The Exhibition is always about our Grade 5 students using the skills they have developed throughout their time in the PYP to lead their own learning into an area they feel passionate about. We challenged our students to use their interest and their passion to make a difference in their life or the lives of others.

The Exhibition process began with some collaborative break out sessions where students had to crack to the code to find to reveal essential elements of the Exhibition

The Exhibition staging is a major community event at Northbridge and we are disappointed that we cannot have the Grade 5 students discussing their learning and sharing their thinking with you in person. We have put together a website so the community can access the passion projects and share in the learning journey with the Grade 5s.

Connecting our interests and passions to the UN sustainable development goals

The students used Book Creator to keep track of their process. Using Book Creator as our process journal meant students could stay connected with teachers and mentors throughout the process. Keeping evidence and journaling the process is an important part of any learning journey. The deep learning comes from thinking about our thinking; planning, trying and failing, reflecting on what we have done, and coming up with ways to overcome the problems we encounter.

We are so proud of the resilience our Grade 5 students have shown. We are sure the skills they have developed while they explored their passions will help them in their transition to Grade 6. Congratulations to all of our Grade 5 students on completing your PYP journey. We wish you all the best in your next adventures.
