New Horizons Programme

Who may be eligible?

• Students must be eligible to study at an international school (i.e. be foreign passported)
• Students aged 14 and over (up to 18)
• Students who may be looking for short-term study options (i.e. only 6 months or one year)
• Students with lower levels of English than usually required at this entry point
• Students with complex entry points (i.e. part way through iGCSE or IB Diploma course, or part way through the academic year)
• Students seeking alternative educational pathways (i.e. customised programmes which may include IB courses)

What does the programme look like?

It is likely to be different for every student as everyone will have a 1-on-1 meeting with the Head of IB to determine their personalised pathway based on their specific needs.  While some students will be ultimately ready to join the IB Diploma Programme at the start of Year 12, for others there may be a reduced timetable, or selected subjects while other parts of the timetable are taken with more intensive EAL support if needed.

New Horizon Fees

RMB 370,000 tuition fees, or pro-rata termly fees for shorter-term enrolment (additional fees for transport and lunch would apply where applicable).

Equivalent to USD 51,900, EUR 48,000, KRW 68mn, JPY 7.6mn, RUB 4.8mn, GBP 41,100, SAR 194,000, HKD 405,600.

Any EAL support would come at no extra cost.

Structured scholarships may also available for students who demonstrate exceptional academic, leadership or other talent in line with the school’s ethos and values.
