Yay! It's the last Friday of the month and the holidays seem closer and closer!
Just like everyone else the LFA is keeping a busy agenda but always seeking ways to have fun. This past weekend we had our first staff-parent social at a bowling alley. It was a great opportunity to meet those that spend the majority of their day with our children, in a relaxed setting. There were high-fives, hugs, and laughter shared that night. The feedback was incredible and everyone enjoyed breaking away from the daily routines. We will start planning to have another social event next semester. We would love to say thank you to those that attended.
We have also had an outpouring of support from the parents without Christmas tree decorations- to ensure smiles from our kids. The LFA wouldn't have expected any less as we've always had strong support from our parents just like Halloween year after year. This coming Wednesday, the 4th, we will have a special surprise for the kids and we hope they are as thrilled as us!
The Chinese department has already started planning for the Chinese New Year. Parent support would also be appreciated in this area.
The LFA would like to reiterate that we thank each and every one of your effort and support! We could not do what we do without you!
