Pippa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialism in English Language and Literature. She has been a teacher for 30 years, working in England, Vietnam and Myanmar.
Pippa began her teaching career as a Primary Class Teacher in the North of England. As an English specialist, she has implemented whole school reading approaches, child and parent writing workshops and provided teacher training and mentoring. A fundamental part of her teaching philosophy is to nurture the self-esteem of the child and equip them with good communication skills. She loves learning and challenging herself and has recently attained a qualification in Special Educational Needs.
Pippa is a passionate and enthusiastic dancer and has taught dance in Albania, South Africa and Southern Ireland. She has choreographed dances for IB Conferences, school musicals and international dance festivals. She also enjoys playing the tenor recorder in the Primary Orchestra. She feeds and cares for lots of street dogs and has two little Chihuahuas called Butch and Toby.
