Tamara McKenna

Tamara McKenna

Deputy Head Curriculum, Assessment

Tamara is a graduate of the University of Leeds (UK) and the University of Bristol (UK), from which she obtained a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Language and a PGCE in Secondary English respectively. She has been teaching for 15 years.

Tamara joined Regents in 2012 as Head of English, after five years in the same role at an international school in Bangkok. Before coming out to Thailand, she spent four years as an English teacher in a secondary school in Bristol, UK, after completing her PGCE.

Prior to her teaching career she spent five years in the IT industry as an Analyst Programmer.

As an Assistant Head of Secondary, she has responsibility for curriculum and assessment, which involves working closely with Heads of Faculty. 

Outside of school, she is either spending time having fun with her daughter, who loves attending the Primary school at Regents, running, cooking or reading.
