James Baker

James Baker

Head of Primary Music

James holds a BSC (Hons) degree in Biology from Surrey University (UK) and a PGCE from Rolle College in Devon. He has been a qualified teacher for 28 years and has worked in many schools in the Midlands and in Southwest of England.

James has been at Regents for ten years now and has held several roles within the school during this time. He is very lucky to lead the Primary Music department, working with Mr Henry and Miss Tik.

He is very keen on cycling, fishing and photography, and of course playing the piano which has been a love of his since he was nine years old. His favorite sport would be tennis, although he is far better at being an arm-chair pundit rather than on court hero!
