Chengdu, 7th July 2025 – Students at Léman International School Chengdu, leading international school in Chengdu, are celebrating another year of outstanding success in IB results for the 2024/25 academic year. Our students have achieved an impressive average score of 38, well above the global average of 30 points. 46% of our students scoring above 40, compared to just 8% globally. This outstanding result reflects the school's unwavering commitment to academic excellence.

Last week, Léman International School Chengdu hosted the much-anticipated Nord Anglia China Region Multi-Sports Festival, bringing together over 160 upper primary students from international schools across China for two action-packed days of competition and camaraderie.

On the afternoon of April 18th, with the sun shining brightly, a charming English-style afternoon tea party was grandly held on the Léman campus to celebrate the remarkable 15th anniversary of the school's founding. The event drew over 600 enthusiastic participants, including all Léman students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends from the Léman community. We were also honored to welcome distinguished guests, including leaders from the Chengdu Education Bureau, the Deputy Director of the Tianfu New Area Education and Health Bureau, representatives from Nord Anglia Education Group, as well as Consuls General and Consuls from various consulates.

The ACAMIS Cross Country 2024, hosted by Léman International School Chengdu, was a spectacular event that showcased resilience, athleticism, and sportsmanship. Over 135 runners, more than 20 coaches, and representatives from 13 schools gathered to celebrate the spirit of cross-country running. Held on November 15th and 16th, the event offered two action-packed days filled with inspiring performances and unforgettable moments.

STEAM Week at Léman International School has just wrapped up, leaving students from all years inspired by a range of dynamic, hands-on activities. This event, which integrated science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, provided students with opportunities to think critically, collaborate, and engage with exciting challenges. Additionally, many of the projects are connected with the MIT Nord Anglia Collaboration, allowing students to explore innovative problem-solving and cutting-edge research.

We were delighted to welcome back one of our alumni, Giulio, during his recent visit to Léman. Giulio, who attended Léman from 2015 to 2020, has been on an impressive academic and professional journey since his graduation, and his return to our campus was a heartwarming moment for all of us. During his visit, we had the opportunity to celebrate his achievements, reminisce about his time at Léman, and present him with his long-awaited graduation ceremony experience.
