Dear Parents and Students

I am pleased to report that after meeting with students, parents and further consulting with our staff, we are now in the final stage of finalising our guiding statements. I will be sharing them with our staff at our annual NAISAK birthday party, which we celebrate on Friday, and then with the rest of the community on Sunday. The timing works very well with our upcoming events, as we will be celebrating both International Week and Qatar’s National Day next week. Our Parent Teacher Friends Association (PTFA) have been tirelessly working with Ms Libby Tremere, Director of Sport and Communications to prepare two exciting events that promise to be very entertaining for our entire community.

Celebrating our wonderfully diverse international community in Al Khor is one of our strengths as a school and we look forward to welcoming you to the school next week to join in the festivities.

In addition to wearing our own respective national attire on Sunday 10 December and the Qatari national colours of maroon and white on Wednesday 13 December, I look forward to welcoming many of you to school for our parent teacher meetings next week as well.  With all of these events taking place, it promises to be a busy and exciting end of term.
