A Day in the Life

I had the opportunity to spend the day with Year 7 on Tuesday last week, which was a great way to learn about student life at NAISAK.  In addition to taking up tests from the Assessment Week, we worked on some fantastic sequences and 3D drawings in Art and did some independent work in sciences.  We finished the day by adding to our vocabulary in English where we used the thesaurus and examined how we can be more descriptive in our writing. 

I would like to say a special thank you to Esssa Ibrahim Al Fadala who happily allowed me to shadow him to all of his lessons and also spend time with him and his friends during break times.  The feedback students offered was very interesting and insightful.  I can safely say that I witnessed firsthand how we are putting our vision into practice in the classroom, ‘Be challenged and inspired today, challenge and inspire tomorrow’.
