One of the benefits of the IBDP is that it offers a well-rounded education with opportunities to specialise in specific subject areas. All our IB students study six subject groups: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, and the Arts. Each student chooses three subject groups to pursue at higher level and three at standard level.
In addition, students further develop their creativity, critical thinking and research skills by completing the required IBDP core programme:
- Theory of Knowledge (TOK): a course on critical thinking, exploring how we learn and build knowledge.
- The Extended Essay: an in-depth independent research project focusing on one specific subject.
- Creativity, Activity and Service: a range of activities through which students strengthen their creative skills, their health and wellbeing, and their commitment to the communities in which they live.
