At the end of May we were delighted to launch our new school at an event held at Trinity College. Andrew Fitzmaurice, CEO of Nord Anglia, officially named the school and introduced Mark Orrow-Whiting, Director of Curriculum and Student Performance to share an overview of what will be on offer. The evening included speeches from Lord David Puttnam, Patrick Prendergast – the Provost of Trinity College, Mary Mitchell O'Connor, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation and former Minister Ruairi Quinn.
The event included a special performance from the talented musical partnership of fiddler Alasdair Fraser and cellist Natalie Haas, a Juilliard alumna. Guests gained an insight into how our world leading performing arts programme inspires students and develops their creativity, collaboration and confidence.
We have had nearly 500 expressions of interest in the school so far, including parents, teachers and staff and potential partners.
