NAIS Pudong Scholarships
NAIS Pudong encourages students to think beyond where they might attend university. We provide the resources and support necessary for students to think critically about their future and how to position themselves in a rapidly changing world in terms of their education needs. Our curriculum and guidance services allow our students to choose the best university for their individual needs while encouraging them to choose to make a difference in the world.
We have already had exciting acceptances this year from our Early Decision/Action applications, including University of Warwick, University of Manchester, King’s College London, University of London and University of Exeter.
Our next tranche of acceptances will come from applications just submitted to universities in the UK, USA and Europe.
It has been exciting week meeting with our Year 11 students and parents for discussing their IB options with a view to aligning them with their possible university aspirations. As we highlighted in our University Guidance information session last Term, preparing for Higher Education begins long before Year 13, to ensure students encompass the range of skills and experience that stand them out in the crowd, by providing carefully curated opportunities from as early as Key Stage 3. To enhance provision of such opportunities, we are excited to announce introduction of two CCAs, Scholars meet and University entrance test preparation, starting from Term 2, for providing even more tailored support that aims to develop students’ portfolios around academic competitions and various entrance examinations that include SAT, ACT, IELTS, BMAT, iMAT.
Please contact Mr. Raye, h-raye@naispudong.com, if you have any questions about preparing your child for Higher Education.
As we approach the final days of the 2024-2025 academic year, I extend my gratitude to every member of our vibrant community for your support over the year. It is a pleasure to lead such a dynamic community, and I hope everyone finds time to rest and rejuvenate this summer.
Last week, as part of the Living Legacies series, our school had the pleasure of welcoming Ms. Chen, an associate professor of economics and parent of an eighth-grade student, to speak to our Grade 10–12 students. In her lecture, Ms. Chen explored the causes and effects of the U.S.–China tariff dispute, blending professional insight with personal experience to bring the topic to life.
