From Learners to Leaders: Primary Students Take Ownership at This Year's Showcase

The answer lies beyond the final piece of work. It can be seen in what students are able to explain, question and engage with.
At this year's Primary Showcase, parents and peers had the opportunity to see students present their ideas, share their projects and reflect on the learning process behind their work.
From applying mathematical concepts to solving real-world challenges, to developing strategic thinking through chess, and from explaining classroom discoveries to presenting hands-on projects, students demonstrated not only what they had learned, but also how they had learned.
One of the most powerful moments of the Showcase was watching students take ownership of their learning. Rather than simply reciting prepared answers, they confidently asked visitors thoughtful questions, explained their thinking, and spoke with pride about their ideas and achievements.
The projects themselves were impressive, but even more inspiring was the confidence, curiosity and leadership our students demonstrated throughout the event.
