Principal Welcome | NAIS Rotterdam-Content Page Header-NAISR_Rotterdam_Sept 2021_341_11zon3

We all want the same things for our children. We want them to be happy, to do the right thing, and to be successful. We want them to have meaningful friendships, to learn about themselves and the world around them, and to have the best possible future. At the Nord Anglia International School Rotterdam, we provide a high quality education that helps every student to realise their full potential. Every child has gifts; every child has talents. It's our goal to nurture the gifts and talents of each of our students, allowing them to be the best they can possibly be.

Founded in 1959, NAISR is a coeducational day school for internationally-minded expatriate and Dutch families. We are a family-oriented school that welcomes students from all cultures and religions, with currently over 40 nationalities represented. We provide learning opportunities that appropriately challenge every child, allowing them to happily learn in a safe and caring environment. Our well-qualified staff use the best pedagogical practices to provide students with a wide variety of opportunities for success both inside and outside the classroom.

NAISR is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), which attests to the high standards of education that we strive towards. Ensuring a balance between academics, arts and athletics, we provide a variety of curricular offerings, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), International Primary Curriculum, (IPC), International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) and more.

In addition to our regular academic programme, we also provide clubs and extra-curricular activities that enrich our students' experience in fun and engaging ways. Opportunities exist for our students to join a number of sports teams, participate in music or drama, and engage in cultural activities.

Thank you for considering NAISR for your child's education. Please browse our website for information on our programmes and facilities. And for a glimpse into school life, please 'like' us on Facebook and 'follow' us on Instagram. The best way to get to know us, however, is to come and see us in Rotterdam. We'd like to invite you to come to our campus and explore all that we have to offer. Please get in touch with our admissions office to make an appointment.

Warm regards,
