NAISR donates another 50 boxes of books to 'Read to Grow' Thank you to our amazing parents and staff who donated so many books for the Read to Grow charity. 50 boxes filled with books were picked up by the charity and will be given to people in developing countries that don't have access to books.

Every year, books are collected at NAISR and donated to the Read to Grow organisation, a Dutch charity group which helps to increase literacy in developing countries around the world by providing schools with second-hand books. Once again, the NAISR community came together to join this wonderful cause.

Read To Grow believe that through education, developing countries can grow stronger and more self-sufficient. They believe in teaching people from developing countries to support and educate themselves through books. Read to Grow contributes to this philosophy by supporting small-scale projects with high quality English and French books.

The NAISR School Library and our full school community once again joined in on this mammoth effort to support such a great cause. This year, NAISR is proud to have donated 50 boxes of books, mainly donated by parents, students and teachers. These were all collected early November by the organisation who were, as always, extremely grateful.

A big THANK YOU to our community for their support with this organisation, to our school library for coordinating this book collection, and a special thanks to our Primary School Student Council (STUCO) for their help. Go Sharks!
