At NAS Dubai, technology is integrated into learning, enhancing teaching and opening up new learning opportunities in the classroom. Our innovative use of tech heightens student engagement, improving and accelerating learning in a natural, unintrusive way.
Our students are digital natives – so it makes sense to develop that aspect of their learning from an early age, teaching them to navigate online education and engagement through our BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy and our unique NAE Global Campus programme that draws on the collective knowledge of more than 10,000 Nord Anglia educators worldwide. Our youngest students start to grasp the basics of digital learning through school-provided iPads.
Students engage with technological learning in our Makerspace (currently located within the Design Technology area, but will expand with extensions in 2022-23), experimenting with 3D printers, robotics, digital design tools, power tools, our recording studio for podcasts and a hydroponic space. Tech in the classroom includes interactive whiteboards and wireless broadcasting facilities.
We believe that this tech integration encourages students to think creatively and embrace innovation, helping them to develop into confident 21st century problem-solvers.
