We took time this week to pause, reflect, and show our support for Childhood Cancer Awareness Day. Marked globally each year, this day highlights a moment to stand with the brave children and families who face challenges no child should have to endure.
Our school podcast’s most recent episode is dedicated to three parents who have generously shared their children’s cancer journeys with honesty and courage. Karin, the mother of Alexa in Year 6, Lama, the mother of Sami in Year 2, and Jill, the mother of Alexis in Reception, come together to reflect on diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and life beyond cancer.
Thank you to everyone who has taken part, worn yellow with pride, bought a rose, or simply opened their hearts to these stories. Together, we are showing our children that kindness matters, community matters, and no family has to face difficult journeys alone.
