Taking a moment to pause, reflect, and stand together for Childhood Cancer Awareness.

This week, our community came together to honour Childhood Cancer Awareness Day — a time to stand in solidarity with the brave children and families who face challenges no child should ever endure.

In this deeply moving episode, three parents share their children’s cancer journeys with honesty, resilience, and courage: Karin, mother of Alexa (Year 6); Lama, mother of Sami (Year 2); and Jill, mother of Alexis (Reception).

Together, they reflect on diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and life beyond cancer — offering powerful insights into strength, hope, and the importance of community support.

Thank you to everyone who showed their support — whether by wearing yellow, contributing to fundraising efforts, or simply taking the time to listen. Together, we remind our children that kindness matters, community matters, and no family faces these journeys alone.
