3rd October 2013 - Compass International School, Al Khor welcomed award-winning children and young adults author, Linda Newbury, to the school where she captured the imagination of the aspiring authors in the Primary classes.
To celebrate the 110th anniversary of Collège Champittet and in support of the Collège Champittet Foundation, an exhibition of the most famous sculptures by Rodin, Renoir, Pompon and Dalí will take place in the gardens of the Collège.
Saturday 16 February 2013: Nigel Fossey, Vice Principal at The British School of Beijing, Shunyi, and Amelie Azeem, Deputy Headteacher for Learning and Teaching at The British School of Beijing, Shunyi led a workshop today entitled “From Reform to New Form” at the annual Council of British International Schools (COBIS) Conference held at The British School of Paris.
Tuesday 5th February 2013: Speaking at the Gifted and Talented Conference in Stafford today, Professor Deborah Eyre, Education Director of Nord Anglia Education gave the keynote address on ‘Raising Expectations and Aspirations’ in schools.
Friday 1 February 2013: Approximately 30 teachers from across the Nord Anglia Education family of schools received professional development training on Challenge Based Learning at Apple’s Executive Training Centres in both Hong Kong (Thursday 15 November 2012) and London (Tuesday 29 January 2013).
Monday 28 January 2013: Speaking at the 2nd National Conference for Able, Gifted & Talented in Independent Prep Schools, Professor Deborah Eyre, Education Director of Nord Anglia Education gave the keynote speech on High Performance Learning, a model for nurturing giftedness and creativity in school.
