ECA Spotlight: Primary Photography

19 mei 2015

In the Primary Photography ECA, children have been working on using photography to change perspectives. ECA leader Cindy De Borger tells us how they did this.

  • Students at the British International School Shanghai created their own storyboards using perspective

To practice focusing and using different perspectives we decided to try to see the school from the perspective of a little Duplo or Lego figurine.

After spending time taking their photographs, the children then made storyboards with their photos, editing them and creating collages.  Some children added speech bubbles, to create their own comic strips.

All the children did a very good job and they took some great photos - we hope you enjoy them!

"We hope you enjoyed our comic strip.  We think this shows all we have learned in Photography so far. We are both glad that we can still learn more each time we some to our ECA.” - Kaya and Jacqueline, Year 4

“I’m happy that I’ve learned photography in this ECA – it’s been really fun!” - Ryan, Year 3
