Senior Swimmers Attend 2 Hour Life Saving Course

26 mei 2016

Yesterday, 15 of our senior swimmers got the chance to take part in an exciting experience.

  • Swimming CPR
  • Swimming CPR
  • Swimming CPR
  • Swimming CPR
  • Swimming CPR

Soren Sebelin offered his expertise to teach a 2 hour course to the swimmers that would see them learn CPR, basic life saving skills and the recovery position.

The swimmers started of in the classroom learning the importance of first aid and then the stages of CPR. They then had the chance to put their newfound knowledge to the test by practicing CPR on the mannequins.

Finally students worked in the pool and learnt basic rescue techniques that could be used in case of drowning and how to perform the recovery position.

This was a highly valuable experience for all those who took part and allowed them an important opportunity to learn the basics of life saving in and out of the water.

Thank you to Soren who delivered an excellent course that the students greatly enjoyed.
