Year 8 Inner Mongolia Trip Day Three Update

22 juni 2016

After a beautiful sunset on Monday evening, students enjoyed a camp fire and local performances including dancing, singing and throat singing!

Everyone was keen to join in and some even learnt Mongolian dance moves.

Some dedicated pupils woke up at 4.40am and braved the bracing wind to watch the sunrise, before creating wind turbines of their own or building a yurt from scratch!

After lunch, we said farewell to the grasslands and are currently on our way to the desert. One group will spend the night camping under the stars whilst the other group will enjoy the relative luxury of a desert hotel.

They'll swap the next night so we all have the chance to wake up amongst the sand dunes.
