Mindfulness for Parents

18 januari 2017

Would you like to learn how to direct your attention to experiences as they unfold, moment by moment, with open-minded curiosity and acceptance?

With renewed support from the school, we are delighted to announce the launch of a professionally run Mindfulness programme for parents in Term 2!

Mindfulness is a practice of paying attention in the present moment and bringing a non-judgmental, compassionate awareness to the nature of things.

This programme will help you gradually reconnect to yourselves, and learn to respond to your habits rather than react to them. It aims to change your life.

Valerie Donval will facilitate the programme. Valerie is a French medical doctor, with more than 20 years of general practice, including 4 years in Shanghai.  She is also professionally trained to teach Mindfulness. She has successfully applied Mindfulness in her medical practice for more than 10 years.

The programme will start on 17 February, 2017. It will take place every Monday, from 10-12pm for a period of 8 weeks in the Primary Den, for a maximum of 10 participants.

The cost will be RMB1,500, non-refundable.

If you would like to take part in the programme, please contact Dr. Valerie Donval.
