19 april 2017

Last night was a special night as we had a birthday to celebrate! The children all sang and Yi Ning had a birthday she won't forget.

This morning, we got straight back into our activities. Four of the groups learnt about organic farming and even got to plant some of their own vegetables! For the other groups, it has been a day of beating personal challenges as they attempted the Leap of Faith or went rock climbing on a nearby mountain.

Tonight, we will be exploring the idea of 'Leave No Trace' - learning about how to camp and walk in nature responsibly without impacting on the environment. We will get a chance to show what we have learnt by performing some short skits in front of everyone!

It has been a wonderful week so far, with new friendships being forged each day and lots of fantastic memories being made.
