RAG Week

08 september 2017

Next week is RAG week (11 – 14 September)!  This is a week when Year 12 students will be ‘Raising Awareness for Giving’!

  • RAG Week

They will be around during form time, break and lunch times to let you know what great charities and projects we as a school support.  There will also be an emphasis on the UN Global Goals – 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development that 193 world leaders have agreed on to end extreme poverty, inequality and climate change by 2030!  Find out more and get involved!

One of the charities is River of Hearts (ROH) which organises the delivery of donated items to areas of need within China (for more information).  During RAG week, we will also be having a collection for ROH.  If you have any items that you can donate that are clean and in good condition please bring them into school next week.

Accepted items include:

·         clothing

·         shoes

·         bedding

·         toys (all pieces included)

·         small appliances (Chinese voltage and electric plugs, all pieces included)

·         kitchenware (e.g. dishes, cutlery)
