Visiting Historian Dr Vaizey: Y11-Y13

Dr. Vaizey is lecturer in Modern European History, and a Fellow of Clare College, Cambridge. She also oversees all of the history applications and interviews for Clare College.  Her expertise ties in very well with both the IGCSE 20th Century Modern World History syllabus and the 20th Century World History IB syllabus, undertaken by our Key Stage 4 and 5 students here at BISS.

During her visit Dr. Vaizey will be working with students and teachers and providing a talk to the school community. For students Dr. Vaizey will run a workshop on the university application process for universities in the UK.  She will  also be giving a talk to students about life before and after the Berlin Wall and the collapse of Communism, based on her latest research.

Wednesday 25 March, 6:30pm, Secondry Auditorium, History talk open to the community.
