Elizabeth graduated from the University of Glasgow, UK in 2007 with a B.Ed. (Hons), specialising in Expressive Arts. She has taught a range of stages across the Primary Sector, gaining a sound understanding of how children learn.  In September 2011 she was promoted to Principal Teacher of her school’s Infant Department. In this post she developed Playful Pedagogy across the Early Stages and supported the Senior Leadership Team with the strategic development of the whole school.

Elizabeth is a committed, enthusiastic teacher, who enjoys playing a role in the development of young minds. She enjoys encouraging pupils to be creative and promotes curiosity and believes that BISS Puxi will be an ideal place to continue her career.  Elizabeth was inspired to be a teacher from her own educational experiences. She and her husband enjoy travelling and are looking forward to exploring the sights of Shanghai and beyond. She is a keen singer and enjoys performing as part of choirs and as a soloist. Elizabeth is a qualified dance teacher in a number of disciplines. She enjoys keeping fit and healthy although she also does enjoy finding new restaurants to try.
