Year 1 Leader & Class Teacher

Becki has always loved working with children, helping out in a Foster Care Home and volunteering for local Summer Camps when she was a teenager. At Aston University, UK, Becki studied Human Psychology and as part of that course she spent a year volunteering as a Teaching Assistant. After graduating, she spent two months in Ghana, volunteering at a local school and orphanage and a further two years as a Teaching Assistant. Becki completed her PGCE (specialising in Early Years and Key Stage One) at The University of Birmingham, UK.

Becki has since spent four years teaching in England and two years teaching in Italy, where she got a taste for international teaching and life abroad. Becki has had experience as a Key Stage One Coordinator and a PE Coordinator. She is also a fully qualified Forest School Leader.

Becki loves anything adventurous and trying new things and is a seasoned traveller. Her hobbies include hockey, netball, swimming, yoga, reading, cooking, being outdoors and travelling. Becki is motivated by seeing those around her, both in work and her personal life, succeed and be happy. She is very much looking forward to an exciting new adventure in Shanghai.
