Over a nine year teaching career, she has experience from across the primary setting, having taught in Key Stages 1, 2 and the Early Years Foundation Stage. After teaching in the UK for six years, Rosie and her husband, Jack, were seeking a new challenge and they moved to Dubai to teach in an international school. After a happy two years there, Rosie and Jack moved to Shanghai to join BISS Puxi. Rosie thoroughly enjoyed her first year teaching in Year 2, and she is very much looking forward to the new academic year.
Rosie was born in Scotland but has lived in the East Midlands and Devon, before settling in Bath. Outside of teaching, Rosie likes nature and she enjoys walks in the countryside and visiting parks and gardens. She is very close to her family and she enjoys FaceTiming with her baby nieces back in the UK. Rosie loves to travel: exploring new cultures, tasting new cuisines and visiting special places. She is keen to explore more of China this year. To relax, Rosie enjoys practising mindful activities such as yoga, reading, and arts and crafts.
