Susan qualified as a primary teacher in 2005 and spent eight years teaching in Scotland. In 2013, she moved to Spain and taught in Early Years for one year. She then taught a Reception class in Egypt for a further two years. In 2016, Susan decided to move to Shanghai to be part of the BISS community, where she taught for three years in Early Years. This is now her second year teaching Year 1.
Susan’s experience from all of these schools has taught her to be a strong classroom practitioner and she feels grateful that she can share her teaching experience with the children at BISS.
Susan has a very friendly and calm nature which makes her approachable to those around her. She enjoys travelling with her family and visiting new destinations around the world. Susan has two daughters in Year 4 and Year 7 at BISS, and loves being part of this close-knit school community.
