Andrew qualified from Cardiff University in 2003 with a degree in Computer Science. He relocated to China and taught English as a foreign language for two and a half years at a prestigious Chinese boarding school. Andrew returned to the UK in 2007 to study for his PGCE at UWIC University. When teaching in the UK, he also held the positions of ICT Coordinator and Key Stage 2 Leader. In 2011, he joined BISS Puxi and in his time here, he has been the Maths Lead and Global Campus Coordinator.
Andrew has thoroughly enjoyed working in Shanghai and some of his most memorable moments were when his rugby team won the U9 Championship for two years in a row. He was also very proud when his Maths team became the FOBISIA Maths champions, beating thirty of the top schools in Asia.
Andrew has many hobbies including reading, rugby and solving Maths puzzles. However, what he loves most is barbecuing. Many of his colleagues have enjoyed numerous feasts over the years and he loves to show pictures of what he has cooked.
