Joynal Miah

Joynal Miah

Business Studies

Joynal graduated from the University of Bedfordshire, UK with a degree in Business & Marketing with the intention of entering corporate life. However, before this Joynal grasped a fantastic opportunity to uptake one of his many heartfelt hobbies, travelling.  He decided to embark upon a year out, to teach English Language in South Korea. It was there that Joynal rapidly developed a thirst for teaching. Torn between his new found love for teaching and his desire to enter into the world of Business and Enterprise, he decided to combine both. It was not long before Joynal returned to England to complete his Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and therefore qualify as a Business Studies teacher.

Further to becoming a fully qualified teacher, he has completed several more years teaching in South Korea, England, and the United Arab Emirates. His hard work, determination and commitment to the students has been recognised and rewarded by swift promotion as a Pastoral Leader and Curriculum Leader in his previous schools. In the classroom, he likes to engage with his students through his first-hand experience in Business coming from a family of entrepreneurs.

Joynal is a husband and father of two twins.  Alongside this Joynal is keen on keeping up to date with the latest sporting news and activities, more so with football.  Joynal achieved the status of an FA coach in 2005 and always tries to get involved with all football related extracurricular activities. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, golfing and photography.
