Choice 2 Change Fundraiser

26 February 2015

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Drawings By Me fundraising initiative in Primary School last term. We are very proud to announce that a total of 8,508 AED has been raised!

These funds have gone to Choice 2 Change, a charity who believe that education is what makes the ultimate difference in an underprivileged child’s life. Choice 2 Change founded two schools in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and today provide an education to 150 children.

Our donation will be used for covering school uniforms for 2015, and any leftover funds will be put towards the Emergency Medical Fund to cover the medical bills of students in 2015.

Eva Kernova, co-founder of Choice to Change, says: “The aim of C2C is  to break the endless cycle of poverty in the slums of Dhaka, Bangladesh, by providing a primary education and basic health care to the underprivileged childrend our foundation works with. We are completely dependent on the generosity of our donors and contributors. This type of fundraising initiative is helping us in managing operation of the school in Dhaka tremendously. Donated funds  will be used for purchasing of our uniforms and ID cards for all our 150 students in  2015. Thank you very much for this wonderful opportunity to help us do our work with children from the slums as best as we can!”
