The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an outstanding Marketing Manager to join a well-established, supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Marketing, the Marketing Manager will lead the Marketing team to reach targets set for school growth. This is done through developing and implementing an effective marketing strategy in line with Admissions and school management direction, generating increased interest in the school, enhancing its reputation, and engaging all staff in positively marketing a common message.

The Marketing Manager will build and develop relationships with external agencies, the PTA, the school’s management team and the wider Nord Anglia Group in order to promote the school and its activities within the community.

A thorough understanding of the local market and the international educational context is required to develop, plan and manage appropriate marketing campaigns and monitor and evaluate their impact.

The Marketing Manager will also provide expertise in managing and promoting school events, overseeing internal publications (such as the website, yearbook and weekly newsletter), social media coverage and all other communication channels.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience;

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
  • Demonstrable marketing and project management skills and experience.
  • In depth knowledge of consumer marketing theory and practice and customer relationship management.
  • Business development or sales experience.
  • Experience of commercial marketing of schools / educational projects.
  • Experience of leading a team.
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills.

Selection Process

Applicants should submit a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees, one of which should be your current Line Manager.

The closing date for application is 7th April 2018. Interviews will be conducted at the School.
