Events Manager – to start August 2019
The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an outstanding Events Manager to join a well-established, supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school.
About the Role
As Events Manager you will plan, organise and deliver a range of School events, both internally and externally. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating within various stakeholders and resources in order to deliver successful, memorable events which reflect the unique identity of our school.
In addition to this, you will provide assistance and administrative support in the organisation of school trips and outdoor educational activities, as well as provide on-going support to our Admissions and Marketing Team.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience;
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an events management, customer service or hospitality role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and to deadlines
