Message from the Head of Primary

His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, proclaimed the year 2019 to be the "The Year of Tolerance" in the UAE, highlighting the UAE as a global capital for tolerance. The values of tolerance, dialogue, coexistence and openness to different cultures lie at the heart of this initiative and it may be prudent to remind ourselves of these as we begin another academic year.

The Year of Tolerance embodies the approach adopted by the UAE since its establishment to be a bridge of communication between the people of the world and their various cultures, in an environment of openness and respect that rejects extremism and promotes coexistence. Our own school values of Honesty, Kindness and Respect support this vision and the coexistence of all nationalities and cultures in our community makes our school a very special place to be.

So, as we go about our daily business in our busy lives where time is often at a premium, we as adults should reflect on the values above and when necessary, model these values to the younger generations at all times. As a school, we will ensure that we uphold these values and thank you for your support in doing the same.

“Instilling values of tolerance carries on Sheikh Zayed’s legacy and teachings. It is one of the most important attributes that we can impact on our people and the global community to ensure safety, stability and happiness for people across the world.” His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
