Year 11 Celebration Ceremony

01 June 2020

It is a special moment as we congratulate Year 11 for their hard work, commitment, and resilience.

Never in the world of a crystal ball would I have seen the images of a virtual Year 11 Celebration to mark the end of Key Stage 4. This is not a sad occasion, but a celebration of all that is special for the current Year 11 cohort at The British International School Abu Dhabi.

Year 11 students have been asked to decorate and trim their homes with bunting and balloons, and to make an afternoon tea, to mark the occasion to celebrate the end of Key Stage 4 with their families. As the Head of Year, I am very excited to be part of this special event.

This is a special moment as we congratulate Year 11 for their hard work, commitment, and resilience. They have been an amazing group of young people. If you would like to share their success and watch the Virtual Celebration Ceremony on Sunday, 7th June 2020 from 1:00pm, please like and follow our Facebook page; by clicking here.

There will be a Live Facebook Premiere of the event starting at 1.00pm, with the pre-Virtual Art Gallery followed by the Ceremony at 2.00pm. We hope as a community you will support the Year 11 students.

Gaynor Lowe, Head of Year 11
