2020 IB and IGCSE Examination Results Students at BIS Abu Dhabi have excelled themselves once again with the external examinations at IB and IGCSE. Students at BIS Abu Dhabi have excelled themselves once again with the external examinations at IB and IGCSE. The simple summary is that the results obtained by the examination classes of 2020 are the highest in the school’s history. The tables of results and those of previous years are at the end of this article.

I am not going to single out individual students in this article because we are proud of the achievements of every single one of them, and so many have been able to exceed their expectations. Ours is an inclusive international school and students of all nationalities, abilities and language backgrounds have been able to obtain great success in two very challenging programmes.

Examinations offer two purposes: partly to test knowledge and understanding, but more importantly to prepare students for their future studies and careers. Our IGCSE cohort now enters the IB Diploma Programme fully prepared to achieve even further success. Our IB cohort now proceed to their University studies where they have obtained offers from Cambridge University, Ivy league Universities and so many other esteemed establishments.

To all our students and to the parents who have helped them along the way, our simple message is to say how proud of you we are. The academic results at BIS Abu Dhabi remain of at the highest levels and compare favourably right across the world. The students of 2020 have set superb standards which others will surely follow.
