Communication is crucial. We aim to keep you updated regularly and concisely with your child's learning progress and school life. We tailor our newsletter communications to you, so you will never receive irrelevant or outdated information from us.
We communicate in a variety of ways and will always welcome you to come and have open and transparent conversations with us. There are a number of ways that you can talk to us:
Newsletters
We have a school newsletter which is emailed on Tuesday each week. This shares some important reminders but is mostly for parents to hear news from the Principal and other Heads. In order to receive the newsletter please subscribe using the form below.
Class teachers and form tutors also regularly email newsletters specific to the class.
News & Events
We encourage parents to regularly visit our News & Events page, where we post news stories and updates from our Principal and other leadership staff.
Calendar
The school calendar is a great way to keep up-to-date with events at school. Parents can subscribe to relevant calendars by clicking on the links below:
Whole School Events, Primary Events, Secondary Events
Social Media
We encourage you to connect with us on our social media platforms. They are not one-way communication devices: we aim to achieve a dialogue between the school and parents.
Communication Books
At the beginning of each year or when a new child begins, they are given a Communication Book in the Primary school and a Homework Diary in the Secondary school. These books are vital for keeping organised, but also to ensure that teachers' can write comments for parents and vice versa.
Information Sessions
We like to regularly hold information sessions that allow us to explain different things about school life.
