The next stage of our journey with the IPC at NAISAK.
This is my first experience of formally using the IPC as a curriculum and I have seen first-hand the excitement and enthusiasm for learning exhibited by students in their IPC lessons. This has not only been through seeing entry and exit points but also as a visitor at Y4's IPC lessons this term where they took the opportunity to speak to me about my experiences of fashion! Y1 are utilising our parent community and will be hosting some visiting speakers who will be able to speak to the children about their jobs. The year began for our Primary staff with training on implementing the IPC. Now, as we move into our second term, we are readying ourselves for the next stage of our journey. We will be participating in further training from Louise Norup, this time in the form of a webinar. Our focus now will be on how we can further incorporate the IPC's enquiry-based focus into our Science provision. It is an ideal method for learning scientific skills and gaining scientific understanding. We are eagerly anticipating this next stage of our journey as we guide our students in their knowledge acquisition, further embedding the IPC learning goals as we go.
