Home-School Partnership

25 March 2018

As said by Francis Keppel, “Education is too important to be left solely to the educators”.  Thank you to all of the parents who took the time to complete the Parent Satisfaction Survey.  With a response rate of 55%, NAISAK had the rate of return of the Nord Anglia schools in the Middle East.  Once we obtain feedback in the coming months, we will share our plans to enhance our strengths and address concerns.  There is a solid body of research that shows the best schools have strong links with the parent community.  At NAISAK, we regularly reflect upon how we communicate with parents.  We are already planning for more interaction with parents next academic year, as we will be regularly inviting parents to visit classrooms when we showcase students’ learning during our International Primary Curriculum (IPC) exit points.

You will have received your children’s school reports on Thursday and I look forward to seeing you at school this week to meet with their teachers.  We have been hosting coffee mornings on Wednesday mornings for the past two weeks and will have our final Parent Teacher Friends Association (PTFA) coffee morning at 07:20 on Wednesday.  All parents are welcome to attend.

We will also be hosting a parent information session during the third term where we will update you with progress that we have been making with our curriculum review and strategic development plan, amongst other things.

Thank you for your continued support and I hope you have an enjoyable end-of-term holiday.
