Wow, it has been a great start to our new school year in the Foundation Stage! Many of our children have just joined us and are new, not only to NAISAK but to any school. It has been wonderful to see so many smiling faces. A huge thanks must go to the many parents who have worked with us to ensure the children make a happy and successful start to the new school year by coming in with their children for our special timetable. THANK YOU. It has made a huge difference and some of our children are already reluctant to leave at the end of the day, as they are having so much fun! and learning too!

There have been a great many changes with Foundation One moving to the front of school and having a dedicated outdoor space with special child friendly surfacing in green! Whilst Foundation Two have moved to have a shared outdoor area as well. Newly organised and refreshed classrooms involving lots of preparation by the teachers are ensuring the children have access to not only space but resources to support their play-based learning. A HUGE thanks also goes to the teachers and learning assistants who have spent time preparing our learning environments and who will continue to work in the coming weeks with organising the outdoor areas ensuring they will be ready for the children when the weather cools and we are able to go outside.

Another new aspect this year is that our classes are now also known as different animals as I suspect your children may have told you. We have the “Bunnies” and “Bears” in Foundation One. The Foundation Two classes are called “Elephants”, “Lions”, “Tigers” and “Giraffes”.

We are looking forward to a fantastic, exciting new school year and thank you in advance for your continued support.
